Robert Sayle Sailing Club Launch their new Dinghy at Rosswell Pits, near Ely
Robert Sayle Sailing Club used to meet at Rosswell Pits near Ely where we had use of the pits and well equipped Clubroom which included a kitchen. This meant that we were able to have whole days sailing, taking turns on the dinghies and have a hot lunch mid-day. We also, in the summer held barbecues while watching others on the water.
We also has use of the safety motor boat in case of problems.
In the attached photographs, we were launching our new Enterprise Dinghy to add to the number of members who could sail at any time.
Basil Carroll did the honours of the actual launch.
