Marion and Alfred Mills' Wedding, at Hills Road Methodist Church, Cambridge
Robert Sayle was an Anglican but a man of liberal religious views and he had strong sympathy with other branches of the Church, particularly the Wesleyan Methodists.
In 1865 he was instrumental in helping the Methodist Conference obtain the plot of land for the building of this church on the Hills Road, Cambridge.
It was at this Church that Marion and Alfred Mills were married but unfortunately, the Church was demolished in the mid-1970s. Marion was DM of China and Glass in the 1960s.
